I think it's probably exactly as McG said, and it's simply delayed. But it looks to me like you don't have to subscribe to get it, it's 500 copies, and both Amazon and Insound have listings for it. Insound lists it as pre-order, and Amazon lists it as "Discontinued by the manufacturer," which almost ALWAYS simply means "delayed" when it comes to vinyl.

The way I understand it, EVERYONE who's putting out vinyl records, from the small labels to the majors, is suffering through ongoing delays simply because the existing vinyl manufacturers out there cannot keep up with all the fresh demand for record pressing.

I thought the Mexican Summer records were supposed to be super limited and only available through subscription/select independent retailers? Does anyone know if they are all going to be available through insound or amazon?

talked to Marissa Nadler about Little Hells vinyl issue on Friday and she mentioned it won't be available until April. Being that the Kurt Vile record is being released by the same company, or a subsidiary of it, wouldn't surprise me if it was also being pushed back.
