Ed Droste, Owen Pallett, and Everyone Else Love Micachu, Too
It’s true– it’s not just us, Edward Droste, Owen Pallett, and pretty much everyone else is enamored with Jewellery. Hell- Grizzly Bear even interviewed Mica & co. for Fader.
Jewellery is finally going to be available in the US next week, and you know, I noticed something… our Micachu & the Shapes Jewellery streaming player has been missing a track! The album apparently ends with a song called “Guts,” whereas our player’s last track was “Turn Me Well.” I have to claim ignorance on this one, because the promo we got didn’t include “Guts”– but regardless, to make up for it, and to give you one last urging to “GO BUY THIS DAMN RECORD!”, we’ve enabled the streaming player one more time — with “Guts” now appended.
(You know, there is in fact another tracklist floating around that has TWO other additional songs: a track called “Worst Bastard,” squeezed in at #11, and a track called “Hardcore” following “Guts.” Nearest I can tell, this alternate tracklist applies to the UK digital version only, but don’t quote me on that. I actually find the whole thing terribly confusing.)

No Responses.
