The Portland Cello Project – “The Thao and Justin Power Sessions”
The Portland Cello Project, aka “PCP,” is a group of classically trained cellists who, since their inception in 2007, have collaborated with a slew of well-known Portland artists, including Mirah and the Dandy Warhols. On 6/9, Kill Rock Stars is releasing their new record, The Thao and Justin Power Sessions, which features (big surprise) Thao and local Portland musician Justin Power. And it has a cover of Pantera’s “Mouth For War,” I shit you not.
