My 33 1/3 About Elliott Smith’s XO Is Out!

The 33 1/3 book I wrote about Elliott Smith's XO is now available at Amazon, and at retail shops that stock the series. I will be at Reading Frenzy in Portland OR on May 21st, Barbes in Brooklyn NY on June 7th, and The Regulator in Durham NC on June 15th to read/talk/sign. I'm also participating in a discussion over at Sweet Addy. The book is divided into two parts; the first explores the development of XO via numerous demos and live recordings, and the second analyzes the popular image of "Elliott Smith" and how it is explicitly at odds with the contents and back story of XO. All things considered, I'm quite happy with how it turned out!
