This is a reissue of O’Rourke’s amazing, long-out-of-print release (Matt gave it 9.0 back when Pitchfork did stuff like that) from 2001. The new edition comes with a special bonus disc featuring material from the same period, sourced from “Jim’s vast archive.”

This is a CD-only release– the website explicitly states that “this album will not be available as a download.” But I think what they meant to say was, “although you’ll be able to very easily download an illegal copy of this the internet, you won’t be able to buy it on iTunes.”
