Matador Signs Kurt Vile
Matador signed Kurt Vile. I knew there was a sort of “bidding war” going on for him, but I don’t think he could’ve ended up on a more appropriate label– this feels like it makes a lot of sense. Vile has signed a “worldwide, multi-album pact” with the label, and his first full-length for them, called Childish Prodigy, will be out in the fall.
