A Classic Education

A Classic Education – “Spanish Harlem”Anthemic Italo-Canadian rock band A Classic Education is the latest to reinterpret the song written by Jerry Lieber and Phil Spector and made famous by Ben E. Listen@MBV: The Black Heart Procession – “Six”

Next week, San Diego’s Black Heart Procession will release their long-awaited new album Six. It’s their (duh) 6th full-length, and not only is it their first new release in 3 years, but also the first on their new home Temporary Residence– coincidentally also now the home to the BHP members’ other band Three Mile Pilot (who have a new 7″ out soon and a full-length slated for 2010).

Mark your calendar for next week, but in the meantime, enjoy Six here a week early via Listen@MBV.
