New Department of Eagles Album, “Archive 2003-2006,” Coming in July

American Dust just posted news that "the long gestating release of the sessions originally intended to be Department of Eagles' second album is due July 20." The band, featuring Daniel Rossen of Grizzly Bear and Fred Nicolaus, released their acclaimed In Ear Park LP on 4AD in 2008, but they had apparently already recorded (and scrapped) an entire album's worth of sessions prior to the recording of In Ear Park. This release, Archive 2003-2006, collects all of that material. Pre-order here from American Dust.
