As I mentioned about a month ago, Arcade Fire‘s forthcoming album The Suburbs (out 8/3 on Merge) is going to come in 8 cover variations. If you want to see large-size versions of all 8 covers, just click thru (I didn’t want to post a nearly 1MB image on the front-page):

so when you order the record, do you get to choose which cover you get?

The variations only apply to the CD (not the vinyl), and as far as I know, the answer is “no, you can’t choose your cover” (short of people just going out to brick-and-mortars and selecting the cover they like best).

Huh, actually in other’s countries versions other covers ain’t avaible. For example as far as I know in Poland you can buy version only with 6th cover.
